What is Connextions?

A mentoring program built for growth-oriented relationships.

Most people in your church want deeper relationships and a growing faith, but many don't know where to start or who to walk with. Connextions gives your church a simple structure for one-on-one mentoring, helping your congregation connect intentionally and grow together through every season of life.

Instead of relying on chance conversations or occasional events, Connextions pairs people with trained mentors who walk with them through focused, Scripture-based courses. The result is a culture where discipleship is personal, relationships go deeper, and faith becomes part of everyday life.

How it works

  • The church chooses an Administrator and a group of Mentors from its leadership team.

  • Mentors complete a self-paced, nine-session training that prepares them to listen well, ask good questions, guide without fixing, and keep confidence.

  • Members of the congregation sign up for a course and meet with their mentor. Each course has 12 sessions and can be completed monthly over a year or twice a month over six months.

What people can learn
Courses cover the foundations of faith, prayer, Bible study, leadership, marriage, men's and women's growth, and learning how to connect with and love the people around us. As members grow, they can be trained to become mentors themselves, so the program multiplies across the church.

  • Connextions is designed to fit alongside what your church is already doing, not compete with it. Getting started takes three simple steps:

    1. Choose an Administrator to coordinate the program.

    2. Select Mentors from your leadership team to complete the mentoring training. Training is 9 sessions and can be completed at whatever pace works best for your team.

    3. Invite your congregation to sign up for the courses they'd like to be mentored in.

    Each course is 12 sessions. Mentors and participants can meet once a month and finish in a year, or meet twice a month and finish in six months. Because Connextions is customized to your church, you decide the pace that fits your people.

  • No. You don't need to be a pastor, a counselor, or an experienced ministry leader to be a mentor. What matters most is a mature, growing faith and a heart to invest in someone else. Mentors are seasoned Christians who are willing to walk alongside a participant through the course, listen well, pray with them, and encourage their spiritual growth. You don't need all the answers. You just need to show up faithfully and point them toward Christ. We'll provide the training and resources to equip you every step of the way.

  • No one knows your congregation better than your church does. That's why your appointed Administrator matches mentors and participants for each course, drawing on personal knowledge of your people to create pairings where real relationships and spiritual growth can flourish.

    We recommend pairing men with men and women with women. The one exception is the First Year of Marriage course, where a mentor couple walks alongside a newlywed couple.

  • Absolutely. Connextions is designed to strengthen what your church is already doing, not replace it. It works hand in hand with small groups, discipleship programs, newcomer ministries, pastoral care, and leadership development. By adding intentional one-on-one mentoring, Connextions helps people build deeper relationships, grow in their faith, and become more connected to the life of your church.

  • Every church is welcome. Whether your congregation gathers in a small fellowship hall or fills a large sanctuary, Connextions is built to fit your community. A smaller church might begin with a few mentors and a single course, while a larger church may train more mentors and offer several courses at once.   • You'll never be on your own. Connextions supports your church at every stage, from choosing an Administrator, to training your mentors, to launching the program with your congregation.

    At the heart of that support is our 9-session mentor training, which mentors can complete at their own pace. It equips them to build trust, guide meaningful conversations, encourage spiritual growth, and maintain healthy boundaries, so they can step into their role with confidence.

  • Connextions is a partnership. We bring the training, resources, and ongoing support, and because you know your community best, your church brings the people and the local know-how. That typically includes:

    • Leadership support from your pastor and ministry team

    • An Administrator to coordinate the program

    • Mentors willing to invest in others

    • Participants eager to grow in their faith

    • Communication to invite and inform your congregation

    • Meeting arrangements that suit your mentors and participants

  • The trust between a mentor and participant is sacred, and we treat it that way. Every mentor signs a mentor agreement that clearly spells out their responsibilities, including expectations for confidentiality, healthy boundaries, communication, and safeguarding. Our mentor training reinforces these commitments, so both mentors and participants can enter the relationship with confidence.

  • Connextions has no per-person fees. A single one-time fee gives your entire church ongoing access to the program, so you can invite as many mentors and participants as you like without worrying about added costs as your ministry grows.
